Who Me?

Me? I'm a child of God first and foremost. In a little more detail I am a graduate of NYU who has studied abroad in Florence, Italy and recently moved back to NYC to see what the city has to offer me. This will be my 11th course in the MSBFSM program and words cannot express how excited I am to be coming to the end. I will be participating in graduation next week and the thought of walking across that stage in my cap and gown is what is motivating me.

To say this masters program has been trying is an understatement. There have been times where I didn't think I would make it to the end, a lot of breakdowns, but at the same time a lot of joy and pride. As I mentioned, I recently moved back to NYC as I got a new job within the hotel industry. A job that I was looking forward to getting once I completed the program. The courses helped me to get the position I have today and I will always be thankful for that. (A little more about me here!)

This collage should give a broad overview of what is most important to me. My family and friends mean the most to me in this world. Some other fun interests of mine include traveling, cooking, and naturally the NY Knicks!

On another note, I unintentionally went shopping after work today to get myself ready for this course!

  1. Soyoung,
Loved reading your blog. It's fantastic. Great to be in the course with you.

I liked the template and the font. It gives a personal touch to what you are doing.

Do you have videos of NYC or Italy that you want to share with us?

  2. Very lovely blog you have there; nice template and font. I really enjoyed reading your personal life about the trips that you had made. I love traveling to other countries as well; however, money always seems to be the major obstacle. Do share some of those travel pictures with us.

    Nice start on your blog.

  3. Soyoung,

I enjoyed reading your blog. The photo collage is nice. The idea of having a link to your linkedin page is a great one. One suggestion I would make is that the link opens into a new window. That way, people don't leave your blog when they click on the link.

  4. Really clean blog... the Italian phrase just makes me want to read a blog named the "Beautiful Life?" (had to Google that). The only think that I would change is the font, maybe make it larger? It is unique and after a second it doesn't really bother me.

The Layout is clean... I keep saying that for some reason, that is my word today, maybe it is the white background.

Oh, and I liked the Linsanity pics.

  5. Hi Soyoung!,

The size chance does help! I also really like the link to the comments, vice having them always displayed!

  6. Hi Soyoung,

Congratulations on being so close to done! I hope the weather warms up and that it stops raining in Boston for your graduation!

I like the formatting and font you've chosen. It's big enough that it's easy to read, even though it's not one of the more standard fonts. The photo collage is great. I'd love to see more pictures of your travels, although what your have up is great. I like to travel too, and seeing pictures gives me ideas for where I might want to go (or where I would go if I had unlimited time and money).

I look forward to learning more as your blog develops.
